The essential hemp oil is extracted by steam distillation. The plants material flows through a water vapor, which dissolves the redolence molecule and turns it back into liquid by cooling. Freshly harvested hemp has more yield, more intense odor and stinging term and the dried hemp is rather mild, however this is mainly used in food and cosmetics industry.
